Exercise on the Go
Have no time to go to the gym or take that morning jog? Well, at least try to do some physical activities on your way to - and around - the office.
- If you can't walk all the way to work, walk part of it - walk to the train or bus station. Or get out a stop early and walk the rest of the way to the office.
- Park your car at the far end of the parking lot.
- Take the stairs.
- Swing your arms when you walk.
- Take the long route to the copy or coffee machine.
- Don't use the automatic doors - use your arm.
- Don't sit for more than 30 minutes at a time. Get up, walk or do some stretching.
- Have a small dumbbell at your desk and lift repeatedly when taking a break.
